Presenting New Zealand batters with hundreds in ICC Champions Trophy

The 2025 ICC Champions Trophy opener saw hosts Pakistan take on New Zealand at the National Stadium in Karachi.
After losing three early wickets, a partnership between Will Young and Tom Latham secured NZ's innings.
Young scored a solid 107 whereas Latham remained unbeaten on 118. NZ posted 320/5 in 50 overs.

145* - Nathan Astle vs USA, The Oval, 2004
Nathan Astle was the first New Zealand batter to score a century in the Champions Trophy.
Astle smashed an unbeaten 145 off 151 balls, (13 fours, six maximums), against the USA during the 2004 edition of the tournament.
NZ managed 347/4, thanks to Astle, and won by 210 runs (Jacob Oram, 5/36).
Astle retired with 7,090 ODI runs at 34.92.

102* - Chris Cairns vs IND, Nairobi, 2000 final
Chris Cairns became the second Kiwi batter to manage a ton in CT, doing it in style during the 2000 final against India.
Cairns's unbeaten 102 off 113 balls (eight fours, two sixes) saw NZ chase a target of 265 in 49.4 overs, lifting their first and only ICC Champions Trophy title.
Overall, the all-rounder managed 4,950 ODI runs across 193 innings at 29.46.

100 - Kane Williamson vs AUS, Edgbaston, 2017
During NZ's second match against Australia, Kane Williamson carved his name into the nation's cricket history in a rain-affected 'no result' game.
Williamson hammered a brilliant 100 off 97 balls, (eight boundaries, three sixes)
Australia struggled early in their chase, losing three quick wickets, but rain forced both teams to share the points.
Overall, Williamson owns 7,036 runs at 49.20.

107 - Will Young vs PAK, Karachi, 2025
As mentioned, Young became the fourth Kiwi batter to score a ton in the tournament, when he hammered 107 off 113 balls, (12 fours, one six) against Pakistan.
Notably, this was also Young's 4th ODI ton and a first against Pakistan. He was dismissed in the 38th over.
With this ton, he has now raced to 1,615 runs at 44.86 (41 ODIs).

118* - Tom Latham vs PAK, Karachi, 2025
Following Young's ton, Latham also hammered his eighth ODI ton.
The wicketkeeper-batter remained unbeaten on 118 off 104 balls, laced with 10 boundaries and three sixes.
With this NZ managed 320/5, while Latham became the fifth Kiwi batter with this milestone in the tournament.
Overall, he now boasts 4,274 runs at 35.03 (SR: 86.18). Notably, this was his maiden hundred against Pakistan.
