The hosts posted a massive score of 687/6d during the first innings of the only Test in Bangladesh's tour of India in 2017. Bangladesh managed 388 runs in the first innings. Virat Kohli smashed a brilliant double-century (204 off 246) and a century by opener Murali Vijay (108 off 160) helped India post a mammoth score. Eventually, India won the match by 208 runs.

India managed 610/3d in the first innings of the second Test in Mirpur 2007. Tons from Dinesh Karthik, Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid and Wasim Jaffer, saw the visitors post a massive total of 610 runs. Bangladesh were folded for 118 (first innings) and managed 253 (second innings) after being asked to follow-on by India. India won the match by an innings and 239 runs.
India 544/8d - Dhaka, 2010
In the first innings of the second Test, India posted 544 runs in reply to Bangladesh's 233 in their first innings. A century by Tendulkar (143 off 182) and 111* off 188 by Dravid, helped India take a lead of 311 runs. However, Bangladesh were bowled out for 311 in the second innings. India won by 10 wickets chasing a target of two runs.
Bangladesh 400/10 - Dhaka, 2000
Bangladesh's highest total against India in Tests was recorded during the first innings of the only Test at Dhaka. A brilliant ton (145 off 380) by Aminul Islam aided the hosts to 400 runs in their first innings. India were folded for 429 runs. India won the match (target: 63) by nine wickets after Bangladesh were bowled out for 91 in the second innings.
