Bangladesh have won a total of 21 matches in Test cricket. Recently, the Tigers decimated Pakistan to earn a famous away series win. Bangladesh are now set to face Team India in a two-match Test series with the first match starting on September 19 at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. BAN vs AUS: 1st Test, Mirpur (2017)
Bangladesh's only Test win against Australia came in the first Test in Mirpur back in 2017. The hosts managed 260 in the first innings. Australia were folded for 217, courtesy of Shakib Al Hasan's 5/68. In the second innings, Bangladesh scored 221, setting a target of 265 runs. They won the match by 20 runs after Australia were folded for 244. Shakib claimed 5/85.
BAN vs ENG: 2nd Test, Dhaka (2016)
Bangladesh's only win against England came in the second Test held in Dhaka in 2016. Bangladesh posted 220 in their first innings with Tamim Iqbal scoring 104 runs. England were folded for 244 thereafter. In the second innings, Bangladesh managed 296. They won the match after folding England for 164 runs. Mehidy Hasan Miraz claimed figures worth 6/77.
BAN vs PAK: 2nd Test, Rawalpindi (2024)
Bangladesh won their first Test series against Pakistan after thrashing them in the 2nd match in Rawalpindi. Pakistan managed 274 in their first innings. Bangladesh were 26/6 before going on to score 262. Litton Das smashed 138 with Pakistan's Khurram Shahzad taking 6 wickets. Bangladesh folded Pakistan for 172 next as Hasan Mahmud claimed a fifer. Bangladesh got to the 185-run target, sealing victory.
SL vs BAN: 2nd Test, Colombo (2017)
Bangladesh have won only one Test against Sri Lanka, the second Test in 2017. After folding the hosts for 338 in their first innings, Bangladesh managed 467, courtesy of Shakib's 116 off 159 balls. However, SL were folded for 319 in the second innings, setting a target of 191 runs. Bangladesh won the match by four wickets, thanks to Tamim's 82 off 125 balls.
