Batting all-rounder Cooper Connolly was included in Australia's Playing XI for the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy semi-final against India in Dubai.
Connolly replaced Matthew Short, who was earlier ruled out with an injury, as reported before.
According to Cricbuzz, the former is now the fourth-youngest player to represent Australia in ICC ODI events.

Connolly is a left-handed batter, who also bowls left-arm spin. He has been a traveling reserve with Australia's squad for the Champions Trophy.
