Who would win the FIFA World Cup 2018?
As we are set to enter the quarter-finals, starting from Friday, everyone has started predicting the title winners. Uruguay and France take on each other and would face Brazil or Belgium in the semis. In the other draw, England will lock horns with Sweden and the winner would next face either Russia or Croatia. But who could actually win the 2018 edition?
Brazil look like prime contenders
Brazil have peaked at the right time. They have conceded only one goal so far and their attack is gaining control. They can take advantage of Belgium's vulnerable defense and get to the semis. An important battle against France or Uruguay will await, but given their depth and form, they could go to the final. Brazil are hot favorites to win their 6th title.
France next likely candidates
France come next after Brazil in terms of chances of being crowned the winners. They go into the game against Uruguay as favorites. A tough battle is expected, but their attacking flow could hand them a victory. Their biggest battle will be against Brazil, if both of them reach the semis. If Kylian Mbappe and Antoine Griezmann perform, Brazil would be in a soup.
England also have a chance
'It's coming home', is the slogan, media houses, fans and pundits are all using for England. They broke the penalty shoot-out jinx after beating Colombia and a relatively easier tie in the other draw means they have a solid chance. They face a gritty Sweden and then they could take on Croatia or Russia in semis. With in-form Harry Kane, they are dreaming big.
We go with a Brazil vs England final
We feel it could be a Brazil versus England final on July 15. Both teams are in form and can claim their authority in the next couple of games. It will be a crunch tie, with Brazil having a slight edge over England.
