Palmer, who has played 32 Premier League matches for the Blues this season, registered his 10th assist in the match versus Forest. Meanwhile, the young Englishman also owns 21 goals in the competition this season.
Palmer equals Premier League legends Lampard and Kane
As mentioned, Palmer owns 21 goals and 10 assists in the 2023-24 Premier League campaign. He has now become just the third English player to have scored 20+ goals and provided 10+ assists in a 38-game Premier League campaign. Palmer joined the likes of Frank Lampard (2009-10) and Harry Kane (2020-21).
Palmer also entered Chelsea's record books last Sunday
In Chelsea's 5-0 win against West Ham United last Sunday, Palmer became the second Chelsea player to be directly involved in 30+ goals in a debut Premier League campaign for Chelsea, joining Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink (2000-01). Palmer also became the fifth different Chelsea player to be involved in 30-plus Premier League goals in a season.
Chelsea cut down Forest
Chelsea fought back from being 2-1 down to win 3-2 versus Forest in a crucial away contest. Palmer's assist helped Mykhailo Mudryk score the opener for Chelsea (13') before Willy Boly equalized three minutes later. Callum Hudson Odoi scored against his former side to help Forest (74'). Chelsea responded with two quickfore goals from Raheem Sterling (80') and Nicolas Jackson (82') to claim victory.

In addition to being involved in 31 Premier League goals, Palmer managed two goals and two assists in the Carabao Cup and one goal and two assists in the FA Cup.
