High-flying Manchester City sit pretty in the Premier League, and will hope to make the form count on German soil when they face Hoffenheim in the Champions League group stage fixture. City failed to win their first game against Lyon at home and therefore this match is almost like a knock-out. The English side go into the tie as favorites. Here's our pre-match report.
Injury updates and situations
City are without many players who are battling injuries. Claudio Bravo, Fabian Delph and Eliaquim Mangala are all out with left-back Benjamin Mendy also being doubtful. Kevin De Bruyne has returned to training, but will take time. Sergio Aguero, who limped off over the weekend, is fit. Hoffenheim captain Kevin Vogt is set to miss out due to a thigh injury.
