Rare early exits for India's top trio
Being put in to bat by the Black Caps, India were in trouble wih early dismissals of Rohit, Gill, and Kohli.
According to ESPNcricinfo, this was only the second instance of these three players being dismissed in the first 10 overs of an ODI. The only other such instance was against Sri Lanka at Eden Gardens in 2023.
Despite being India's top three batters on 29 occasions, their early exit proved detrimental to the team's performance.
