India have been crowned the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy champions.
The Men in Blue beat New Zealand after chasing down 252 in a high-voltage final in Dubai. Skipper Rohit Sharma led from the front with an incredible knock.
Earlier, Indian spinners spun their web to restrict the Kiwis (251/7).
India have become the first side to win three Champions Trophy titles.

NZ cross 250 despite suffering top-order collapse
Will Young and Rachin Ravindra added 57 runs after NZ skipper Mitchell Santner elected to bat. However, Varun Chakravarthy and Kuldeep Yadav reduced NZ to 75/3 in no time.
Tom Latham too departed after NZ crossed 100, but Glenn Phillips and Daryl propelled them past 160.

Overall, Rohit is the fourth captain with a fifty in the tournament final. He has joined Ganguly, Sanath Jayasuriya, and Hansie Cronje on this elite list.

Rohit completes 1,000 ODI runs against NZ
Rohit reached another landmark with this third run in the final.
The 37-year-old became the seventh player with 1,000-plus runs for India against New Zealand in the format.
He has joined Sachin Tendulkar (1,750), Virat Kohli (1,650-plus), Virender Sehwag (1,157), Mohammad Azharuddin (1,118), Sourav Ganguly (1,079), and Rahul Dravid (1,032) on this elite list.

Rohit and Gill added 105 runs, now the third-highest opening partnership in Champions Trophy finals.

In 49 ODIs, the senior Kiwi batter has amassed 1,904 runs at an average of 48.82. His tally includes six tons and eight half-centuries.
On the other hand, Bracewell has raced to 672 runs from 31 matches at an average of 39.52. It was his third fifty-plus score (two tons).

Mitchell held his fort and completed his half-century off 91 balls, the second-slowest for New Zealand in ODIs since 2011, as per Cricbuzz. Albeit a useful one, he also recorded the second-slowest fifty for New Zealand in the Champions Trophy.
