What's the story
The 2025 ICC Champions Trophy tour, in partnership with DP World, made a memorable stopover in India. The trophy was displayed at several iconic locations across Mumbai and Bengaluru.
The global tour will cover all eight participating nations, with its next and final stop being Pakistan.
The tournament will be held from February 19 to March 9 in Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Mumbai tour
Trophy tour begins in Mumbai, visits iconic locations
The Trophy tour started in Mumbai, touring some of the city's most frequented places.
These included the Wankhede Stadium, Shivaji Park, Gateway of India, Carter Road, Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus, and Bandstand among others.
Cricket fans were elated to see the coveted trophy up close as it cruised through the busy streets of Mumbai.
Many fans took this opportunity to click photos and selfies with the prestigious silverware.

Trophy graces Wankhede Stadium's 50th anniversary celebration
A highlight of the Mumbai leg of the tour was the trophy's appearance at Wankhede Stadium's 50th anniversary celebration on January 19.
India captain Rohit Sharma posed with the trophy along with former India captains Dilip Vengsarkar, Ravi Shastri, Ajinkya Rahane, Sunil Gavaskar, Sachin Tendulkar, and Diana Edulji.
The presence of these cricket legends made the upcoming tournament even more exciting.
Bengaluru journey
Trophy tour continues in Bengaluru, hosts Trophy Carnival
After Mumbai, the Trophy Tour moved to Bengaluru. The Nexus Shantiniketan Mall hosted a special event, the Trophy Carnival, which drew cricket fans from across the city.
The trophy then toured some of Bengaluru's most loved landmarks including Bengaluru Palace, Freedom Park, KR Market, Town Hall and St. Mary's Basilica among others.
This gave fans in Bengaluru a chance to see the trophy up close and personal, further fueling their excitement for the upcoming tournament.

India to play matches in Dubai
The 2025 Champions Trophy starts on February 19 in Karachi, with Pakistan taking on New Zealand in the opener.
Meanwhile, India will play their matches in Dubai instead of Pakistan under the hybrid model.
