RR vs MI: Head-to-head and Probable Playing XI

    What's the story

Rajasthan Royals will be hoping to return to winning ways when the Mumbai Indians visit Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur for match number 21 of the IPL.

The two sides have produced some of the most tightly fought contests in the past.

Come Sunday evening, who holds the edge between these two sides?

Here are the head-to-head records and probable playing XI.

    Head-to-head record

Historically, Mumbai Indians have been better than Royals

The two sides have locked horns 16 times with the Mumbai Indians boasting a superior record.

Mumbai have won 10 matches as compared to Royals' bagging 6 victories.

Until 2011, Rajasthan had the better record, winning 4 out of the 7 matches played.

However, since 2012 Mumbai Indians have won 7 and Rajasthan have managed to emerged victorious only twice.

    Breached

Can the Royals make Jaipur a fortress again?

Jaipur was a fortress for the Rajasthan Royals that was hardly breached.

They held a 9 game unbeaten streak in IPL until the Kolkata Knight Riders beat them by 7 wickets earlier this week.

Before the start of this IPL, Mumbai Indians were the only visiting team to successfully chase 150 plus total in Jaipur (163/0 in 2012).
