Call of Duty: WWII gets new Commando Division
As promised by Sledgehammer Games, the fan favorite Call of Duty: WWII got a new update before the release of DLC 4. It adds a brand new 'Division' to the multiplayer mode. Commando is the latest in the series, and it has some exciting perks and features. It promises to make the gameplay much more interesting. Read all about it here.
A lethal unit of soldiers
The Commando Division will have versatile soldiers who are self-sufficient and can turn battles to their advantage. An added perk is the Paratrooper Insert. This allows players to spawn where they want and land behind enemy lines or close to objectives. Since Commandos engage faster than other Divisions and get perks for killing enemies, this seems suited for players with an aggressive playing style.
Soldiers of fortune
The Commando Division has their own set of perks- their health regenerates sooner and killing enemies instantly triggers the generation so they can engage in the next fight immediately. Meant to be a lethal unit, multiple kills and head-shots are rewarded with additional scores and ammunition. Notably, the highest ranking Commandos can equip two Basic Trainings to convert them into efficient killing machines.
What are Basic Trainings?
Basic Trainings are perks that players can add to their class or Division of soldiers to give them enhanced abilities and advantages in battle. Notably, most classes only allow one Basic Training to be equipped at a time.
Two brand new additions to choose from
Not only will the Commando Division be able to use two Basic Trainings, but they have two new options to choose from. The latest update includes Catalyst and Remedy. Catalyst gives access to a special serum which improves weapon handling. This helps in battle but it takes time to regenerate so players have to time the use wisely. The Remedy facilitates quicker health regeneration.
Other Divisions to choose from
The other Divisions in the game includes - Infantry, Airborne, Mountain, Armored, Resistance, Cavalry, and Expeditionary. Of these, Mountain is best suited for snipers, while Airborne is good for run and gun gamers. Heavy gun lovers could opt for the Armored or Cavalry Divisions.
