Robbie Savage backs Brendan Rodgers to replace Solskjaer
As critics believe it is just a matter of time before Solskjaer could be shown the door, former United youth player Robbie Savage believes that the club could eye Brendan Rodgers as his replacement. "Brendan Rodgers is leading Leicester City back into the Champions League - and he is a future United manager," Savage was quoted as saying to the Daily Mirror.

"I have been so impressed by the job Rodgers has done since he took over at the King Power eight months ago that I am convinced Leicester can finish in the top four," added Savage.
Rodgers has had a decent managerial career so far
Rodgers has enjoyed a decent stint as the manager till now. Having managed six clubs to date, he has a win percentage of 54.1, securing 273 wins from 505 matches. Meanwhile, his most successful term came at Celtics, where he had a win percentage of 69.8, winning 118 from 169 matches. With Liverpool, he had a win percentage of 50.
Savage believes Solskjaer deserves time at Old Trafford
Notably, Savage was quick to say that while Rodgers is destined to achieve success at United, he does believe it is right time yet to sack Solskjaer. "I am not in favor of football's hiring-and-firing culture, and Solskjaer deserves time," he added.
Should United replace Solskjaer with Rodgers?
As United are certainly off to a woeful start, Solskjaer is ought to be under pressure.
