Kings XI Punjab appoint Brad Hodge as head coach
Kings XI Punjab have announced their support staff for the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League. Former chairman of junior selection committee, Venkatesh Prasad has been appointed bowling coach of the franchise while former Australian cricketer, Brad Hodge has been appointed as the head coach. Hodge has been appointed for the next three IPL seasons.

"Venkatesh Prasad, former right-arm medium-fast bowler and ex-chairman of the junior national selection committee comes on board as the team's bowling coach," Kings XI Punjab said in a statement.
Mithun Manhas joins KIXP as assistant coach
Hodge has scored over 7,000 runs in the shortest format of the game and is looking to turn things around at KIXP. Virender Sehwag will continue to be the team mentor while Delhi player Mithun Manhas returns as the as assistant coach. Nishant Thakur, Shyamal Vallabhjee and Nishanta Bordoloi have also been appointed as strength and conditioning coach, technical coach and fielding coach respectively.
Hodge upbeat ahead of new IPL season
