Indian all-rounder Ravichandran Ashwin broke Anil Kumble's record for the most wickets taken during the fourth innings in Test cricket for India. He achieved this during the second innings of the first Test between India and Bangladesh in Chennai (2024 series). India won the match by 280 runs as Ashwin managed figures of 6/88 while Bangladesh were folded for 234 on the fourth day.
