Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 has split-screen feature
Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 has been in the limelight of the gaming community since it introduced the acclaimed Blackout Battle Royale. However, there was one feature that developers Treyarch didn't emphasize about and has thus surprised gamers. It is the inclusion of a split-screen feature in a gaming age when most developers have ditched the same. Read all about it here.
All about the split screen feature
The split screen feature is available for both Blackout and the competitive multiplayer modes. In the latter, the split screen works for two players. However, for it to work, both players must have signed in to the PlayStation Network, and at least one of them must have PlayStation Plus. Notably, the split screen is available for up to four players in the zombie mode.
Problems with Blackout's split-screen
Although the addition of the split screen is a welcome move, gamers are facing some issues. For starters, the overall experience is rough and sluggish compared to the polished smooth gameplay in the default mode. Importantly the problems with graphics and lower frame rates negatively impact experience. However, since Treyarch has introduced the feature, it will probably improve the same in near future.
