#GamingBytes: All about the first update of Black Ops 4
The most anticipated addition to the popular Call of Duty franchise, Black Ops 4 released on October 12. The game got its first update on October 14 from developers Treyarch. The update notably addresses all three modes of the game- Blackout, Multiplayer, and Zombies. Notably, Zombies mode has been given the bulk of attention in this update. Read all about the new update here.
Changes made to the Zombies mode
For the Zombies mode, the update will increase players' health for the Normal, Hardcore, and Casual difficulty levels by 50 points. This change is expected to allow players to survive longer. Among other changes are how fast players can earn points and modifications made to the cost it takes to repair or replace a shield. The update addresses issues of survival in Zombies mode.
Changes made to the Multiplayer mode
The Multiplayer is one of Call of Duty's most beloved modes of gameplay. The update addresses some serious issues in this mode. It changes some of the pre-required conditions, in order to unlock the active camo on certain signature weapons. It also contains a hotfix for a bug that prevented Scorestreak kills from being counted towards the progress of some challenges.
The update makes some PC specific changes
The update fixes an issue in Blackout, where the Trauma Kits occasionally did not work. The developers are also tracking instances of the game crashing on PCs, spawning issues in maps and some gameplay progression issues where some wins are not being recorded.
