Europa League Roundup: Atletico win, Arsenal beat Milan
Atletico Madrid bounced back from their weekend defeat to Barcelona in La Liga with a commanding win against Lokomotiv Moscow. They beat the Russian side 3-0 at home and are virtually through to the quarter-finals of the tournament. English giants Arsenal moved on from four losses on the trot to seal a commanding win against AC Milan. They overcame Milan 2-0 in Italy.
Atletico, Arsenal favourites for Europa title?
Diego Simeone's Atletico know they would be boosted by a major trophy this season and it might come in the form of the Europa League. 2nd placed side in La Liga, Atletico have the best defensive record in Europe this term. Arsenal could use the Europa League to be in Champions League next season. They are virtually out of top four race in EPL.
Diego Costa going big in Atletico return
The Spaniard, Diego Costa played a significant role in Atletico's win against Lokomotiv by scoring a goal. This was his 6th goal in 12 matches. Costa started featuring for Atletico only from January 2018, due to a transfer ban imposed on the club.

The quarter-final draw and dates
After the completion of the 2nd leg tie next week, the Europa League quarter-final draw will be held on March 16. The two-legged ties of the last eight will be played on April 5 and 12 respectively.
