Mohammed Shami - 7/57 (Mumbai, 2023)
Veteran Indian pacer Mohammed Shami tore through New Zealand's batting lineup with a career-best 7/57 in the first semifinal of the 2023 World Cup (Mumbai).
Defending 398, he dismantled the top and middle order, including centurion Daryl Mitchell, before dismissing tailenders Mitchell Santner and Trent Boult in 9.5 overs.
Meanwhile, NZ were all out for 327. Shami now boasts 202 ODI wickets at 23.85.

Shane Bond - 6/19 (Bulawayo, 2005)
In the second match of the 2005 Videocon Triangular Series in Bulawayo, Shane Bond recorded his best ODI figures of 6/19 against India.
Defending 216, he dismissed skipper Sourav Ganguly first, followed by three top-order batters, including Venugopal Rao for a duck.
His final wicket was half-centurion Irfan Pathan, sealing NZ's 51-run win.
According to ESPNcricinfo, Bond retired with 147 ODI wickets at 20.88.

Amit Mishra - 5/18 (Visakhapatnam, 2016)
Amit Mishra recorded the third-best bowling figures in IND-NZ ODIs with 5/18 in the fifth ODI during NZ's tour of India (2016) in Visakhapatnam.
Meanwhile, his five-wicket haul helped India win by 190 runs while bowling out NZ for 79.
Notably, four of his five wickets were ducks.
Mishra retired with 64 ODI wickets at an average of 23.60 (36 ODIs).

Trent Boult - 5/21 (Hamilton, 2019)
During India's 2019 tour of NZ (Hamilton), Trent Boult recorded the fourth-best bowling figures in IND-NZ ODIs.
Boult tore through the Indian batting lineup returning with figures worth 5/21.
His demolition of the top order and dismissal of two all-rounders saw India bundle out for just 92.
The Black Caps won the match by eight wickets. Meanwhile, Boult retired with 211 scalps at 24.38.

Andre Adams - 5/22 (Queenstown, 2003)
India's 2003 tour of New Zealand saw Andre Adams record the fifth-best bowling figures in IND-NZ ODIs.
In the fourth ODI Adams managed 5/22, dismantling the top order with four scalps, and dismissing Mohammad Kaif for a duck
His last victim was Ashish Nehra (0) as India were folded for 122.
NZ won by seven wickets. Overall, the all-rounder retired with 53 scalps.
