BCCI wants cricket community to shun nations which fund terrorism
The BCCI has written a letter to the ICC, requesting its members to shun ties with nations which harbor terrorists. The BCCI expressed its concerns over the Pulwama attack as well as security of Indian players. This decision was taken post a high-level meeting of the Indian cricket board. The meeting was chaired by the CoA and attended by the BCCI's chief Rahul Johri.

According to a report in ESPN, CoA chief Vinod Rai said, "We are telling the cricketing community that in future they must sever ties with nations from which such terror emanates."

The relations between India and Pakistan have hit a new low following a terror attack on a CRPF vehicle in Pulwama. The incident resulted in the death of over 40 soldiers with several others injured. Terror outfit Jaish-e-Mohammed claimed responsibility for the attack. The organization is based out of Pakistan. The incident has left everyone in shock and anger.
BCCI wants Pakistan to be banned from World Cup
Since the ghastly attack last week, several former cricketers have called for boycotting of India versus Pakistan match in the upcoming ICC World Cup 2019 in England and Wales. Reports stated that the BCCI wants Pakistan to be banned from playing in the World Cup.
World Cup: Decision on playing Pakistan to be taken later
Rai was asked whether India will now play arch-rivals Pakistan in their ICC World Cup group encounter which is scheduled to be played on June 16 in Manchester. The CoA chief said that a decision will not be taken right away. "June 16 is very far away. We will take a call on that much later and in consultation with the government," he said.
Dada wants India to cut all sporting ties with Pakistan
Earlier, former India cricket team skipper Sourav Ganguly called for snapping of all sporting ties with Pakistan in wake of the attack. "There is no chance of a bilateral series with Pakistan after this incident. I agree that after this attack, India should not only stop playing cricket, hockey or football with Pakistan but cut all ties with them," said Ganguly to India TV.
