Rohit Sharma to lead Team India in Bangladesh ODIs
Regular skipper Rohit Sharma will lead Team India in the upcoming ODI series against Bangladesh, starting December 4. KL Rahul and Virat Kohli will also return to the ODI setup after missing the ongoing New Zealand tour. Pacer Kuldeep Sen and all-rounder Shahbaz Ahmed replaced injured Yash Dayal and Ravindra Jadeja in the squad. Here are further details.

A look at the replacements
Spinning all-rounder Shahbaz Ahmed has replaced Jadeja in the ODI squad. The former has already represented India in two ODIs, having made his debut earlier this year. Meanwhile, injured Yash Dayal (lower back issue) has made way for pacer Kuldeep Sen.
Jadeja set to miss the tour
As reported earlier, Indian all-rounder Jadeja will miss the Bangladesh ODIs. The 33-year-old has not fully recovered from the knee injury he suffered during the Asia Cup 2022 in August. He got ruled out midway through the continental tournament and subsequently underwent a surgery. Owing to the same, he could not feature in the recently-concluded ICC T20 World Cup 2022 as well.
BAN vs IND: Here is the schedule
Dhaka will host the first two ODIs between Bangladesh and India on December 4 and 7. The third game will be held in Chattogram on December 10. Meanwhile, the two four-day matches will be played from November 29 to December 2 (Cox's Bazaar) and December 6-9 (Sylhet). A two-Test series will follow the same - December 14-18 (Chattogram) and December 22-26 (Dhaka).

Pujara, Umesh to play second four-day game
Indian batter Cheteshwar Pujara and pacer Umesh Yadav will play for India A in the second four-day game. Both Pujara and Umesh recently featured in England's domestic summer. The duo then took part in the ongoing Vijay Hazare Trophy. Umesh last played for India on the 2021/22 South Africa tour (Cape Town Test). Meanwhile, Pujara featured in the one-off Test against England in July.
