Team India squad announced for Windies tour
The BCCI selectors met on Sunday to announce the Indian squads for the upcoming tour of West Indies starting August 3. India have gone in with a full strength side across all formats. Virat Kohli is set to lead the team. While Jasprit Bumrah has been rested for the white-ball series, the selectors also picked some new faces. Here's more.
Veteran wicket-keeper Saha returns in a quality Test side
In the Test team, Mayank Agarwal and KL Rahul will be the two opening options. Prithvi Shaw misses out. The likes of Cheteshwar Pujara, Ajinkya Rahane and Rohit Sharma are all in. R Ashwin, who has been in superb form in County, will lead the spin show alongside Ravindra Jadeja. India have recalled wicket-keeper Wriddhiman Saha. He will support Rishabh Pant.

Few new entrants in the limited-overs side
For the T20Is and ODIs, there are a few new entrants. The T20Is see the return of Shreyas Iyer, Manish Pandey, Washington Sundar. Debutant Rahul Chahar and Navdeep Saini get in. India have rested their premier wrist-spin duo, besides pacer Jasprit Bumrah. In the ODIs, Iyer comes in alongside Saini, Pandey and Khaleel, as Dinesh Karthik has been dropped. JB gives it a miss.

No Dhoni in Indian limited-overs squad as expected
It was reported yesterday that veteran Indian wicket-keeper batsman and former captain MS Dhoni had made himself unavailable for the tour of WI. Dhoni is set to take a two-month break from the sport as he will be spending this time with the Parachute Regiment of the Territorial Army. Dhoni had already informed the BCCI prior to the selection committee meeting today.
West Indies vs India: Here's the complete schedule
India will be playing three T20Is against WI, starting August 3. The second and third T20I will be played on August 4 and 6 respectively. The first two T20Is will be hosted at Lauderhill, Florida (USA). Post that, India play three ODI matches against WI (August 8-14). The first Test starts on August 22. The second Test is from August 30.
