Team India's journey to the Champions Trophy title
Under Rohit Sharma's leadership, India were dominant in the Champions Trophy. They played all their matches in Dubai owing to political reasons.
India won all four matches leading up to the final, in commanding fashion.
Their campaign began with six-wicket win against Bangladesh, followed by another six-wicket triumph over Pakistan.
India continued their strong performance with a thrilling victory over New Zealand. They sealed their place in the final after defeating Australia by four wickets.

BCCI President and Vice-President's remarks on cash award
BCCI President Roger Binny spoke about the huge cash prize and said, "Winning back-to-back ICC titles is special and this reward recognizes Team India's dedication and excellence on the global stage."
He also said that "the cash award is a recognition of the hard work that everyone puts in behind the scenes."
Meanwhile, BCCI Vice-President Rajeev Shukla lauded the team's performance throughout the tournament.

Seventh ICC title for India
This win marked India's seventh ICC title, just behind Australia, who have 10.
Besides winning the Champions Trophy thrice, India have also claimed two T20 World Cup and as many ODI World Cup titles.
India's previous Champions Trophy wins were in 2002 and 2013. They shared the title with Sri Lanka in 2002.
Australia are the only other side to win multiple Champions Trophy titles.
