This is now the third-highest Test score by a Bangladesh captain against India
He was picked up by Ravindra Jadeja as Bangladesh folded for 234 while chasing 515 runs.

Veteran wicketkeeper batter Mushfiqur Rahim owns the highest Test score against India. He managed 127 off 262 during the first innings of the only Test held in Hyderabad, 2017.
Rahim's knock included 16 fours and two sixes at a rate of 48.47 as BAN were folded for 388.
However, India won the match by 208 runs after BAN were folded for 250 (second innings).

Shakib Al Hasan - 84 off 108, Chattogram 2022
All-rounder Shakib Al Hasan managed 84 off 108, during the second innings of the first Test in Chattogram, 2022.
Shakib's knock included six fours and six sixes, propelling Bangladesh's total to 320.
However, India won the match by 188 runs after setting a target of 513 runs and folding Bangladesh for 324 during the second innings.

Najmul Hossain Shanto - 82 off 127, Chennai 2024
Skipper Shanto was Bangladesh's lone warrior in the fourth innings of the match.
This was his second fifty-plus score against India and his first in India. The skipper's knock included eight boundaries and three sixes at a strike rate of 64.57.
However, India won the match by 280 runs with the help of Ravichandran Ashwin's record-breaking spell of 6/88.
