West Indies vs Bangladesh: Mustafizur Rahman ruled out with injury
Bangladesh have named a 15-member squad for the upcoming Test series against West Indies, which is scheduled for next month. Pacer Mustafizur Rahman misses out due to a toe injury. This is a big blow to Bangladesh, given Rahman's wicket-taking abilities. The 22-year-old youngster had suffered an injury while playing for Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League 2018 season.
Injury hampers Bangladesh's preparations
Injury had forced Rahman to miss the recently concluded three-match T20I series against Afghanistan, which was held in Dehradun. The promising player had impressed during his spell at Mumbai Indians in IPL 2018. Chief selector Minhajul Abedin stated that, barring a miracle, Mustafizur will not be ready and that's the reason he has been left out. In 10 Tests, Mustafizur has 26 wickets.
