Australia's wicketkeeper-batter Josh Inglis has made a sensational entry into Test cricket, scoring a century on debut.
The 29-year-old accomplished the milestone during the opening Test against Sri Lanka on Thursday, January 30.
As per ESPNcricinfo, Inglis is only the second Australian to score a Test century on debut in Sri Lanka.

Inglis recorded the second-fastest century on Test debut, having taken just 90 balls to get the milestone in Galle.
His brilliance played a huge role in Australia's mammoth first innings total of 654/6d.
He smashed 10 fours and one six during his 102-run stay (94 balls).
Batting at No. 5, Inglis also stitched a solid partnership with Usman Khawaja (232), adding 146 runs for the fourth wicket.

Shaun Marsh - 141 in Pallekele, 2011
As mentioned, Inglis became the second Australian to register a debut Test century in Sri Lanka.
He joined Shaun Marsh, who made a gritty 141 in the second innings of the 2011 Pallekele match.
Batting at number three, Marsh frustrated the Lankan bowlers as he tackled 315 deliveries (18 fours).
The southpaw stitched a 258-run stand with Michael Hussey (142) as the Aussies finished at 317/6d.
The game resulted in a draw.

Former Australian captain Michael Clarke made his Test debut against India in the year 2004 and scored a brilliant 151 in Bengaluru.
He batted at number six and smoked 18 fours and four maximums during his 248-ball stay.
Clarke added 167 runs with Adam Gilchrist (102) for the sixth wicket as the Aussies posted 474/10 in their first innings.
They eventually sealed the contest by 217 runs.
