The Australian cricket team thrashed a lacklustre Pakistan outfit to win the third T20I and seal the three-match series 2-0. Australia enjoyed a supreme victory against Babar Azam-led Pakistan at the Perth Stadium. Batting first, Pakistan managed 106/8 in 20 overs. In reply, the Aussies chased down the target in style. Mitchell Starc (2/29) is now the second-highest wicket-taker for Australia in T20Is (39). He went past former Aussie legend Mitchell Johnson (38). Kane Richardson (3/18) notched his best career T20I figures. He has 17 career T20I scalps in total.
Finch and Warner excel once again for the hosts
Finch and Warner amassed their second century-run stand in T20Is. The two went past 700-plus partnership runs in terms in this format. Warner surpassed the figure of 200 fours in T20Is. He became the first Aussie batsman to do so and the seventh overall. Finch raced to 90 career T20I sixes.
