Sean Abbott replaces Spencer Johnson for Scotland, England T20I series
In a blow for the Australian cricket team, left-arm quick Spencer Johnson has been ruled out of their scheduled T20I series against Scotland and England. As per ESPNcricinfo, the budding pacer recently picked up a side strain in the Hundred, playing for Oval Invincibles. New South Wales all-rounder Sean Abbott has replaced Johnson for the T20I leg. Johnson, a talented left-arm speedster, has featured for Australia in five T20Is and one ODI. He made his debut last year, against South Africa. The left-arm seamer has six wickets in T20Is as of now. Johnson has been wicket-less in his last four Hundred matches for Oval Invincibles. However, his campaign comes to an end with an untimely injury.
