#GamingBytes: Assassin's Creed spin-off game coming to Android and iOS
Assassin's Creed fans can rejoice as their favourite franchise is releasing a spin-off game for Android and iOS users. The spin-off is titled Assassin's Creed Rebellion and will be released on November 21. The game will progress around base management and expansion. It has been developed by Behavior Interactive, the studio popular for Fallout Shelter. Read all about this exciting new game here.
All about Assassin's Creed Rebellion
Rebellion will be based in 15th century Spain, where players have to build their brotherhood of assassins, during the height of 'Spanish Inquisition'. The aim is to establish a headquarter to accommodate a growing number of assassins to infiltrate the Templar strongholds. Apart from that, Rebellion will have 2D side-scrolling segments like Assassin's Creed Chronicles, to be used during four types of infiltration missions.
A most rewarding mission-oriented game
Rebellion will feature 'Story' missions alongside 'Standard' missions. They will reward resources, which gamers can use to upgrade their assassins. 'Loot' missions will give crafting rewards and 'Legacy' missions will allow players to use DNA fragments and unlock new assassins who can be used for future missions. The developers will, in all likeliness, make some elements in-game accessible through micro-transactions.
The known and beloved assassins are returning
Rebellion will be a treat for franchise fans as several popular assassins from previous games are part of the game. These names include Ezio, Edward Kenway, Brotherhood's Machiavelli, Yusuf from Revelations and Shao Jun. They will all have their varied individual skill sets.
Ubisoft teases the glorious reward system
In order to encourage potential gamers, Ubisoft teased potential rewards like Helix Credits and Coins that players can use to finance Brotherhood activities. DNA Cube tokens will allow gamers to unlock exciting heroes including those from Assassin's Creed Odyssey, the latest game. Players will also, oddly, have the chance to add Mario to their team of assassins. Notably, the rewards are valued at $15.
How soon can you get your hands on this game?
For fans who cannot wait for Rebellion's release can pre-register via the Play Store for Android users, and official website for iOS users. The game has been released in certain territories for testing and initial response has been positive. Moreover, Ubisoft is offering a host of rewards to the gamers who will download and play the game in the first week of its release.
