India meets South Korea in the Asian Champions Trophy today
After crushing Japan 10-2 in the first match, India will meet South-Korea in their second match of the 2016 Asian Hockey Champions Trophy today. Korea suffered a 1-0 loss against Pakistan in their opening game. Tournament favorites India will look for an easy win today, before they play against Pakistan on Sunday. In the second-encounter of the day, China will be up against Japan.
Pakistan won 1-0 against South Korea
Defending champions Pakistan registered a win against South Korea at the 2016 Asian Hockey Champions Trophy. After suffering a defeat in the first match against Malaysia, Pakistan looked more composed and won the second match 1-0. Haseem Khan converted the fourth penalty corner into a goal in the last minute of the game and won the match for Pakistan.
Malaysia thrashed China to register second win of the tournament
Host-team Malaysia took a step closer to semi-finals of the Asian Champions Trophy after defeating China 5-1. Malaysia looked in good form after a win against Pakistan and continued their performance in the second match. Haziq Samsul of Malaysia scored the opening goal of the match in sixth minute, and scored another in 20th. Wang Bowen scored consolation goal for China in 33rd minute.

After day two's matches, Malaysia are on top of the table with six points from two wins in two matches. India are on second place having won their opening match, followed by Pakistan, South Korea, China and Japan.

Ahead of the game against South Korea, Indian captain Sreejesh said, "Pakistan is just one of the teams in the tournament. We are right now looking for three points from Saturdays match against South Korea."
