Premier League: Mikel Arteta looks forward to Manchester City visit
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is looking forward to visit the Etihad in the upcoming Premier League clash against Manchester City. This will be Arteta's first visit since quitting as Pep Guardiola's assistant at City to take over as head coach of the Gunners in December. The former mid-fielder said he will use his inside knowledge to try and beat City.
Arteta was City's assistant coach
Arteta was offered to lead the Arsenal academy post his retirement as a player, however, he chose to join Manchester City as their assistant coach. On July 3, 2016, Arteta was given the job at City. He formed a successful association with manager Pep Guardiola and helped City boss domestic football especially in the last two seasons. The move helped him learn a lot.
Arteta has a clear idea of City's offerings
Arteta knows what City will be trying to do at the Etihad. "It gives me a very clear idea of what they are trying to do and what they will be looking to do," he said ahead of Wednesday's game. "It is something different to be able to stop that and as well create the issues that I think we can create for them.

Arteta is excited to go back. "It's going to be a very special night, I am very excited to get back there. I have some fantastic memories, a lot of friends, a lot of people that I like," he said. "But obviously now I am in a different position, another bench and I will defend my club as well as I can."
Arsenal will be out to stop champions City
City lost the derby against Manchester United by a 2-0 margin on Sunday. They are second in the Premier League with 57 points. However, City boast of a tremendous record against Arsenal of late. On the other hand, Arsenal are on an eight-match unbeaten run in the league. They are doing well of late and are ninth with 40 points.
