Premier League fixtures 2018-19: Everything you need to know
The Premier League 2018-19 fixtures have been announced and the first set of matches will commence on August 11. Champions Manchester City will travel to London to face rivals Arsenal in a mouth-watering clash at the Emirates stadium. Manchester United have a home game against Leicester City as Liverpool face West Ham United. Here is everything you need to know.
Match-week one fixtures
Arsenal boss Emery handed a tough start
New boss of Gunners Unai Emery has a difficult task at hand as Arsenal face two blockbuster teams in their first two matches. They first host City before travelling to Stamford Bridge to face Chelsea on August 18. The Gunners also have a similar set of clashes in December. They face arch-rivals Spurs on December 1, followed by a trip to Old Trafford.
What about the promoted clubs?
Fulham will take on Crystal Palace in a home game on August 11. Cardiff City will travel to Bournemouth as Wolves will lock horns with Marco Silva's Everton at home. Wolves had won the Championship in 2017-18 and got promoted as Fulham entered via play-off.
Spurs set to play away from new home in August
With Tottenham's new stadium set to be prepared by early September, three of their EPL matches in August will be played away from home. They play Fulham on the weekend of August 18-19 and as the match is listed as home fixture, they will be playing at Wembley. Their first match at their new stadium is on September 15 against Liverpool.
