Arsenal rode through a brace by Danny Welbeck to beat Italian side AC Milan 3-1 at the Emirates.
The win saw the Gunners progress to the quarter-finals of the Europa League with a 5-1 aggregate score.
Atletico Madrid progressed with a 5-1 victory against Lokomotiv Moscow in the second leg of the Round of 16 tie.
They had earlier won 3-0 at home.

Arsenal too heavy for struggling Milan
Arsenal entered the tie with a 2-0 away win margin. They pegged back early on as the visitors scored through Hakan Calhanoglu.
Welbeck then got Arsenal fired up with an equaliser before Granit Xhaka scored from 30 yards.
Welbeck scored his second to give Arsenal the hope of going far in the Europa and keeping their chances alive of a silverware.

Atletico's forward-line enjoyed a spectacular night in Russia with Fernando Torres scoring two in their 5-1 rout. The two-time Europa League winners look like genuine contenders for the trophy this season. Even Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger stated they want to avoid Atletico in the quarters.
