Why did Arjun Tendulkar decide to miss Mumbai T20 League?
Legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar's son, Arjun has decided to withdraw from the upcoming Mumbai T20 League. According to Mumbai Mirror, left-arm pacer Arjun has withdrawn from the inaugural tournament to work on his new action. After consulting with his father, Arjun decided to skip the event and instead he would focus on perfecting his remodelled action.
Arjun has been working since months
The 18-year-old budding cricketer has been reportedly working on his new bowling action since January 2018. He is yet to master the new action and is therefore taking his time to get things sorted before making a return to the game. This in turn has seen him informing the MCA officials about his decision not to feature in the league.
Key facts about Mumbai T20 League
The teams are set to have three former or present Ranji players, 3 List A players and the rest of the squad is to be filled with emerging players of Mumbai. Around 200-250 players would be auctioned. The tournament is scheduled from March 11-21.
