Asian Games: India open their account with a bronze medal
What's the story
India opened their account at the ongoing Asian Games 2018, being held in Indonesia.
Shooters Apurvi Chandela and Ravi Kumar notched bronze medal in 10m Air Rifle Mixed Team event to give India their first medal.
India have a long day ahead and with this, the campaign has kick-started on the right note.

2nd bronze for Chandela in 2018
The pair finished third with an overall total of 429.9 in the table.
Chinese Taipei won the gold medal after an impressive 494.1.
China took the silver with their tally being 492.5.
Earlier this year, Chandela had bagged a bronze in the 10m air rifle singles event at the 2018 Commonwealth Games.
She had won the gold in 2014 Glasgow Games as well.

Meanwhile, in the 10m Air Pistol qualification, India's Manu Bhaker and Abhishek Verma failed to qualify for the medal rounds after they ended sixth with a total score of 759. Manu's personal score was 378, while Abhishek managed a score of 381.
