Playing for the Jamaica Tallawahs, Andre Russell capped off one of the best T20 performances of all time. The all-rounder stomped his authority against the star-studded Trinbago Knight Riders. Russell showed his prominence by claiming a hat-trick in the final over. Prior to that he also took a stunning catch of Chris Lynn (46). The astonishing moment came when Russell smashed a 49-ball 121.

The Knight Riders set a challenging total of 225 for the Tallawahs, who were pegged back at 49/5 in their chase. But in came Russell and took the game away from the opposition team. He smashed 6 fours and 13 sixes to clock a strike-rate of 246.94. Tallawahs needed 138 runs from final 60 deliveries and Russell upped the tempo with some monstrous blows.
Russell and his side achieve some extraordinary feats
Russell hit the fastest ton in CPL history off just 40 deliveries. His team became the first in the history of T20 cricket to to add 150+ runs after losing 5 wickets. This was also the highest chase by a side in CPL. Russell also became the 2nd player after Rashid Khan to take a hat-trick in CPL.
