Chelsea started the season brilliantly, reinvigorated under Maurizio Sarri's style, but now seem to have lost the touch after being unbeaten for long. Hazard's recent injury was surely a contributing factor in the slump, and so was their recent loss to Tottenham which put them behind in the title race. Their match against City on December 8 will have a massive bearing on the league table.
The North London teams have also surpassed expectations
Arsenal have made a brilliant start to the Premier League and remain undefeated after their first two losses against City and Chelsea. If Chelsea lose to City and the Gunners win against United, Emery's team can find themselves in the third position. Tottenham, having stopped Chelsea's unbeaten streak, should have carried their recent form to the Emirates, but lost to Arsenal, and are now fifth in the table.

With never-ending internal strifes in the dressing room, Manchester United are falling behind in the league and are already 16 points away from table-toppers City. It is high time Mourinho consolidates the team and starts showing some positivity in the performances. United are conceding way too many goals this term. with their goal difference being -1. December will test their mettle as they face Arsenal and Liverpool.
