Getting by with a little help from your friends
For the first time, Fortnite is introducing pets in the game. As reported, the pets will sit in a carrier behind the players and react to different situations, the players find themselves in. You can't see me, my time is now
An exciting feature, coming to Fortnite, is invisibility. The Shadow Stones have been added to the game and some player are calling it, Season 6's rifts. Interacting with the Shadow Stone will turn players invisible but crucially they have to be stationary and cannot use their weapons when invisible. However, the movement will be faster and players can phase leap for quick getaways.
The map reflects the spooky Halloween season
The new season is keeping the promise of the Halloween theme by adding new places to the map. Some of the interesting places include a spooky castle on Haunted Hills and tall corn fields. However, the most notable place is Loot Lake. The island at the lake's center has been lifted from the water, into a vortex in the sky by the 'Purple Cube'.
Other changes coming to season 6
Season 6 has done away with the suppressed SMG, impulse grenade, light machine gun, the bouncer and remote explosives. The storm circle will now have reduced time between the shrinks, but the actual shrink time has been increased. Notably, players can now set their own music choice and the Battle Pass will allow them to unlock additional tracks.
