The four teams in the semis
France overcame Uruguay 2-0 to move to the semis and will face Belgium, which stunned Brazil 2-1. On the other side, England saw Sweden off with a 2-0 victory and will face a resurgent Croatia, which knocked hosts Russia out via penalty shoot-out.
France vs Belgium a blockbuster on Tuesday
These two teams are now favorites to win the 2018 edition of the World Cup. But then, only one can progress between France and Belgium. France looked comfortable against Uruguay after a 4-3 victory against Argentina in the round of 16. Belgium have displayed their spirit in both the knock-out ties so far. It's hard to predict which of these sides will progress.
Croatia vs England tie promises fireworks
Croatia and England face each other on Wednesday, June 11. The match will be played at the Luzhniki Stadium. England played superbly against Sweden and looked comfortable after the penalty shoot-out win over Colombia. Croatia, on the other hand, have held their nerves after winning both their knock-out games via the shoot-out. Between these two teams, England seem to have a slight edge.
