Sergio Aguero extends his Manchester City contract to 2021
Argentine forward, Sergio Aguero has signed, a one-year contract extension at Manchester City, which will see him stay with the club till 2021. Aguero's comments after extending his contract
The Argentine looked visibly pleased after extending his contract for a year, saying, "I am happy for this additional year. My idea was being here for 10 years. I've been here for seven years, it's going to be 10 when the contract expires. Aguero also praised the club, his team-mates, and the management for always making him feel at home.

City's director of football, Begiristain said that the club is delighted to see Aguero extending stay. "We are fortunate to have had one of the best strikers in the world at our club for so many years and I'm sure our supporters will be thrilled with this news", he added. Aguero has won three EPL titles with Manchester City- 2011-12, 2013-14, and 2017-18. He jointly holds the record of scoring the highest goals in a Premier League match (5). Aguero was awarded the Premier League Golden Boot in 2014-15. Aguero's most memorable moment at City is 2011-12 season's 94th-minute goal against Queens Park Rangers which won City the league title after a 44-year gap.
