Agni Chopra receives BCCI award from childhood idol Rohit Sharma

Agni Chopra, son of celebrated film-maker Vidhu Vinod Chopra and acclaimed film critic Anupama Chopra, has received the prestigious Madhavrao Scindia Award for the top run-getter in Ranji Trophy Plate League.
Indian cricket team captain and his childhood idol, Rohit Sharma, presented the award.
Agni said he was elated to receive this prestigious award from Sharma at the BCCI annual awards ceremony.

Remarkable performance in domestic cricket
Agni Chopra's phenomenal form in the 2023/24 domestic season saw him score a whopping 939 runs at an incredible average of almost 80. This earned him the title of the highest run-scorer in the Ranji Trophy Plate League.
