AB de Villiers to play in Pakistan Super League 4
Former South African cricketer, AB de Villiers has agreed to play in the fourth edition of Pakistan Super League. The aggressive batsman will be making his debut in the PSL, in 2019, after he bid farewell to international cricket. This comes after the Pakistan Cricket Board reached an agreement with the world class batsman. Here is more on the same.

AB can't wait to get started
AB stated that the PSL has grown on to become one of the best T20 leagues around the world and has given the fans much to cheer about. He added that he enjoyed watching some of the PSL games on television in recent years. 2019 will be different though as AB will be participating in the global league.
After India, now Pakistani fans will cheer for AB
AB has been fantastic for the Royal Challengers Bangalore in the Indian Premier League and is loved by the fans across India. Now India's neighbors Pakistan too will get to watch the player, who is respected in every part of the world. The PSL season 3 was played jointly in UAE and Pakistan. Season 4 could see more matches being held in Pakistan itself.

A celebrated name in cricket, AB called it quits from international cricket on May 23, 2018. He played 114 Test matches for South Africa besides 228 ODIs and 78 T20Is. He scored 8,765 Test runs, including 22 tons, with a best of 278* at an average of 50.66. In ODIs, the legendary cricketer amassed 9,577 runs at a healthy average of 53.50.
A star player of the T20 format
AB has defined T20 cricket and has been a real powerhouse in this format. In 251 T20 matches, he has scored 6,649 runs with a best of 133*. His strike-rate of 147.91 shows his value in this format. He has hit 299 sixes and is one shy of the 300-mark. In IPL, he has 3,953 runs to his name.
