India have topped the show across formats
Since 2010, India and West Indies have played 16 Test matches. India have won 11 Tests, whereas, five matches were drawn. The two sides have featured in 37 ODI matches in this phase. India have sealed 24 wins, whereas, WI have managed just eight victories. India have also won eight T20Is out of 13 games.
Kohli has dominated across formats against WI
Indian captain Virat Kohli has been on top gear against West Indies in this decade. In nine T20Is, he has scored 381 runs at 45.42. Kohli has enjoyed the maximum pleasure against WI in ODIs. In 35 ODIs, he has scored 2,067 runs at 73.82. He has smashed nine ODI tons. In 14 Tests, he has scored 822 runs at 43.26.
Indian batsmen have done well against West Indies
There have been two scores in excess of 350 in ODIs between the two sides in this decade. India registered 418/5 and 377/5 in 2011 and 2018 respectively. Kohli boasts of the highest individual score against WI in Tests (200 in 2016). When it comes to ODIs, the top three individual scores have been registered by Indians. Two Indians have scored hundreds in T20Is.
Indian bowlers top the charts across formats
Jasprit Bumrah has claimed the most wickets in T20Is against WI (8). He leads the chart in India-West Indies T20Is. Senior spinner R Ashwin has claimed 60 Test scalps in this decade to lead the show among bowlers between the two sides. Ishant Sharma (46 wickets) tops the billing among pacers. Ravindra Jadeja (38) and Mohammed Shami (32) lead the wickets column in ODIs.
Rohit has shined against WI in terms of record partnerships
Rohit Sharma and Ashwin registered the highest seventh-wicket stand in Tests between India and West Indies. Their 280-run stand came in 2013. Rohit and Kohli (246) stitched the highest second-wicket stand in ODIs between the two sides on October 21, 2018. Rohit and Ambati Rayudu (211) stitched the highest third-wicket stand in ODIs between the two sides on October 29, 2018.
