Lahiru Kumara was the star performer with the ball for the Lankans. He claimed 4/21 from seven overs. Vishwa Fernando did well with the ball as well, taking 3/40 from eight overs. Asitha Fernando managed 2/49 from 12 overs with Milan Priyanath Rathnayake taking 1/43. All 10 wickets were claimed by pacers, who bowled 34 overs to dismiss England.
