West Indies' Romario Shepherd records his second-best T20I bowling figures
West Indies sealed the three-match series with a 30-run victory over South Africa in the 2nd T20I at the Brian Lara Stadium. After being put into bat first, West Indies set a challenging target of 179/6 in their allotted 20 overs. The visitors were folded for just 149 in response. Shamar Joseph and Romario Shepherd took three-fers, with the latter recording his second-best figures.
Shepherd was the pick of WI's bowlers
In response to WI's total, South Africa were all out for 149 in 19.4 overs. The visitors' chase was hampered by Shepherd (3/15) and Joseph (3/31), who dismantled their batting lineup. Shepherd was named Player of the Match for his career second-best figures. Despite a promising start from Reeza Hendricks (44) and Ryan Rickelton (20), SA couldn't maintain their momentum.

The Caribbean all-rounder 4/31 as they won by eight wickets. Shepherd has now raced to 44 wickets in the format, in 42 matches. He averages 28.31 with a solitary four-wicket haul. The WI all-rounder also owns over 300 runs.
