He will be first Indian batsman to reach this landmark this year and overall 14th batsman.
Rishabh Pant needs one more catch to complete 50 catches as a wicket-keeper in T20 cricket.
Yuzvendra Chahal needs three more wickets to register 50 scalps in T20Is.

Dhawan and KL Rahul can reach these landmarks
Shikhar Dhawan (1,454 runs) needs 46 more to register the mark of 1,500 runs in T20Is.
The southpaw will become the fifth Indian to achieve this milestone.
KL Rahul (914) needs 86 runs to reach 1,000 T20I runs.
He will become the seventh Indian to reach this landmark.
Rohit needs two more catches to surpass Virat Kohli (36) and be the second-most successful Indian.

Bangladesh skipper Mahmudullah (48) is just two sixes away from completing a half-century of maximums in T20Is.
He will become the first Bangladeshi cricketer to achieve this feat.
Mushfiqur Rahim (31 sixes) needs three more to get past Shakib Al Hasan (33) in terms of career T20I sixes.
Rahim will move up to third in this list of Bangladeshi cricketers.
