Second successive medal for Indian men's hockey team

However, Pakistan's Arshad Nadeem spoiled his party with a monster throw of 92.97m, which is now an Olympic record. Chopra's throw of 89.45m on his second attempt handed him the silver medal. Swapnil Kusale bagged India's third medal (bronze) in shooting at the Paris Olympics. He had become the first Indian shooter to make it to an Olympic final in the men's 50m Rifle 3 Positions. Aman Sehrawat, India's only male wrestler at the Paris Games, gave the nation its final medal. He overcame Darian Toi Cruz in the men's 57kg wrestling bronze medal contest.
