Here are the best moments of World Cup 2019
The ICC World Cup 2019 has entered its business end and things are gaining momentum rapidly. Several players have been terrific so far with their antics on the field. The ongoing tournament in England and Wales has produced many top moments that caught the attention of everyone. In the same light, here we list out the five best moments.
Boult and Shami's hat-tricks were terrific
Mohammed Shami became the first bowler in CWC 19 to claim a hat-trick. He achieved the same against Afghanistan in the final over. Shami bowled straight and full to win the match for India in his first game. On Saturday, Trent Boult produced magic with three yorkers against Australia. The last over of Australia's innings saw Boult getting three scalps on the trot.
Starc's fifers a great sight in World Cup 2019
Mitchell Starc has been the best bowler of the tournament by a mile. The left-arm speedster has already amassed 24 scalps from eight games. Starc has taken two fifers in CWC 19 so far. His first one was against West Indies (5/46). He then took upped the ante against New Zealand (5/26). In both matches, he was ruthless and picked up crucial scalps.

Guptill and Smith pull off blinders
New Zealand's Tom Latham walked across to flick a delivery. The southpaw couldn't manage to keep it down. Steve Smith, at short mid-wicket, pulled off a one-handed blinder after flying to his right. Earlier in the match, Smith had played a pull shot. Martin Guptill, who was standing at leg-gully, flew in the air and took a superb catch with his left hand.
Williamson's cheeky boundary under tremendous pressure was class
Kane Williamson played one of the most matured and calm innings in World Cup history. He steered his side past South Africa with a brilliant unbeaten ton. Kiwis needed 12 runs from seven balls. Williamson guided a slower Lungi Ngidi delivery towards third man area to pick up a boundary. At that moment, many batsmen would have gone for big shots, but not Williamson.
Warner's 166 against Bangladesh was delightful
David Warner came into the World Cup with a lot of unwanted attention on him. Despite scoring runs, he struggled in the early matches with his timing. But Warner being a player he is, shed off all the doubts and amassed a brilliant 166 against Bangladesh. He was at his best and scored emphatically. This is still the highest individual score in CWC 19.
