Zverev will face American 32-year-old John Isner in the finale, who earlier stunned Juan Martin del Potro 6-1, 7-6.
What's at stake in men's finale?
Zverev has won 2 ATP Masters 1000 titles in 2017 at 20 years of age. Isner has played three Masters finals earlier but could not clinch a trophy. Isner is also vying to become the first American since Roddick (2010) to win Key Biscayne title.
Stephens, Ostapenko to battle for women's glory
2017 US Open winner Sloane Stephens will be up against an in-form Jelena Ostapenko in the women's singles final on Saturday. The 20-year-old Latvian and the 25-year-old American have never played head-to-head, but they come in as a well-matched pair. Both the players have beaten big names on their way to the final. This is the first-ever Miami Open final for both of them.
