What's the story

After losing to Brazil in the previous match, Argentina bounced back with captain Lionel Messi scoring a goal in a 3-2 win against Colombia in the 2018 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers.

Messi's free kick in the 10th minute gave the hosts a 1-0 lead. Lucas Pratto scored a header in the 23rd minute while Angel Di Maria scored the third in 83rd minute.

Brazil continued their winning streak at the CONMEBOL and defeated Peru 2-0 at the Estadio Nacional de Lima.

With Gabriel Jesus scoring the first goal in the second half, and Renato Augusto scoring the next, Brazil are on the top of the South American qualifying group.

Peru, which did not beat Brazil in the last 10 qualifiers troubled the visitors in the first half.
